They say that diamonds are a girls best friend. But i think its passe these days coz beads are big in the fashion market right now. Scout around any big shopping mall or side streets and you'l find vendors selling beads. Even the tiny fellows at traffic signals tryin to make a buck or two have strings n strings of beads around them.
Beads are fun and sexy. They come in an array of colours, shapes and sizes and the choices are so intoxicating! And they are sooo soooo much more cheaper than diamonds! They can be teamed up with any outfit as well. With a classic straight cut jeans and a cute top... or with a skirt and a peasant top they look just great! Pair them up with a dress and it'll make it look ultra glam and hot from boring!
Apart from beads i've liked pearls as well. I like the sensual allure of pearls which adds a touch of feminity and elegance to any outfit. My favourite is an exotic pair of black pearls by Claires given to me by a friend.
If you are like me and looking for a fresh change from boring diamonds then my advice to you is to give pearls a try. They are very easy to match with every mood and fashion imaginable.
I think it looks great on guys too as long as they are able to carry it off rather than looking like a dork or a wanna-be!
